Our price structure is based on the number of characters of your source text, which can be accurately calculated in advance. Therefore, when you receive our quote, you will know exactly what to expect. There will be no unpleasant surprises.

The standard rates can be found in the  general price list. We would be pleased to provide you with an individual offer for the translation of your texts. To do so, we need your source text, the target language and the desired date of delivery. Please contact us.

With the help of our CAT tool across, we automatically analyse your source text according to the number of lines and repetitions. One standard line contains 50 characters including spaces. The number of standard lines multiplied by the price per line equals the exact and definitive cost. Text repetitions are calculated at a reduced rate.

If you send us your source text as a hardcopy (e.g. by fax or regular mail) or in a file format that does not allow for electronic calculation or that cannot be converted into text, our invoice will be based on the target language.

 

Hourly rates are used for proofreading, translations without continuous text (e.g. Excel terminology lists), for special text editing by experts as well as other services that cannot be calculated by line.

From an annual turnover of CHF 3000, you will receive a turnover bonus at the end of the year and be classified as an A-customer in the following year. As an A-customer, you benefit from advantageous price reductions and surcharges, from discounted prices for text repetitions and from monthly collective invoices. The turnover bonus depends on the annual turnover and equals between 3% and 10%.

We grant initial order discounts, discounts on large volumes, turnover bonuses as well as reduced prices for text repetitions. Surcharges apply to express orders, translations with specific language combinations as well as to translations in special corporate programmes.
